Montague Street Gardens

Unveiled for 2019, Montague Street Gardens is officially opening its gates to corporate and private events. The secret gardens are privately owned by The Bedford Estates and form part of the Bloomsbury Estate which has been in the Russell Family since 1669.

 

Hidden behind the Georgian facades of Montague Street, the gardens are a stone’s throw from the iconic British Museum. The space has a magical feel to it, characterised by its swirling garden paths and lush lawns which are overhung by mature trees. The gardens benefit from immaculate daily upkeep by the Bedford Estates’ gardeners and even have their very own bee hives!

 

The gardens can accommodate up to 250 guests for standing receptions and 50 for seated dinners. They are open for corporate events as well as private parties and will suit drinks receptions, formal dinners, weddings, product launches and experiential events. The gardens work in partnership with The Montague on the Gardens Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel perfectly suited for any guests.

 

The entrance to this stunning yet unusual location can be found behind two magnificent wrought iron gates, embossed with the gilded Bedford crest. The gardens benefit from being located just 5 minutes’ walk from Russell Square tube station and 10 minutes’ walk from Holborn and Tottenham Court Road.
